Nights at the cinema were my parents’ favorite pastime, so I had my first movie-watching experience before I was even born…and I’ve been hooked ever since! And with my dad filling our home with his cameras and lenses and talks of light, composition and emotions, it’s natural I latched onto the world of filmmaking before I truly understood what it was all about.
Today, I’m still that same wide-eyed kid with a healthy appetite for movie-watching and filmmaking. The difference is I’ve gained a more concrete understanding of what the process is all about, thanks to my insatiable curiosity for technical knowledge and many years of hands-on experience directing, editing and producing films, TV shows and commercials at 3388 Films. I actively pursues storytelling opportunities that advocate diverse representation in film and media.
In addition, I am an instructor and workshop facilitator, teaching digital media and filmmaking at Golden West College, and serves on various advisory boards.
You can usually find me thinking, talking, or breathing filmmaking. If not, I’m thinking, talking, or breathing soccer (go Manchester United!). In between all that, I’m probably eating. It’s my other passion in life.
Let’s stay in touch!
